Thing 23 - The End

The journey has been hard but fun, I like flicker and Zoho, they where fun to play around with. I also realize that i will probably never put anything on utube!!!! (but fun looking at all the things other people do)

There are a few things that I didn't understand and will be going back over them to try and get a better understanding.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog, it might not be as enjoyable as some, but i tried!

Have found this site that allows you to download free e-books, I went to afew sites and they where pretty boring titles. This one has a great range and FREE!!!!!

Podcasts I think would be great in our online catalogue iBistro. It would be great for users to have a book review of a title they are interested in.

Goowy - is great for kids because it gives you everything you need in a fresh, simple package, including an instant messenger that lets you chat with your buddies from different networks.

Cocktail builder - is great fro parties, It has rated cocktails and has the recipes for adults to use.
There is a number of tools that the library could use from the uncoming events to the social news.

I looked though more in the list and some of them are great, I have even added it to my favorites.

Pasta recipe

This is my Zoho Writer Document that I have created for my blog. I thought I might do something I enjoy FOOD!!!

Here's my recipe for a great pasta

Garlic finally chopped
zucchini (boiled in pot)
bacon chopped
parsley chopped
cherry tomatoes (halved)
mushrooms chopped
Any Pasta (cooked)

Cook garlic and bacon in a pan, once browned add mushrooms, toss through.
Add halved cherry tomatoes (squeeze out the middle of some of the tomatoes when adding to pan, this will create a sauce for your pasta).
Once all cooked add chopped parsley and season to taste.

Cook pasta as per directions in a separate pot, drain and toss through sauce.

A Wiki to me is just a big online dictionary that anyone can contribute too. It allows users to add things in plain text format, that is not confusing. Wiki's can be used for anything - manuals, design, how too's, it is a endless supply of information. I think if you look up anything on the internet there will be a Wiki site for it.

Web 2.0 allows people from all over the world to interact, if it's using blogging, utube, facebook or tagging sites it allows people to get together.
I use facebook it talk to my friend who is in India and also to allow other friends to see what I have been upto and stay in contact.
Facebook is a great form of blogging.

Have just played around with Rollyo and added all the websites I like into one page! I think I really like food and shopping!

Have just added the book "Marshmallows for breakfast" by Dorothy Koomson, which I am reading at the moment.

Have just finished playing around with online generators, I think I made my Boss into a telly tubbie!!! I wanted to put carol, Janet and myself also on there, but I have to buy the product if I wanted to add more faces. I had fun with it, next time I might use my own face??

Blog start

This is my family out on Paul's Dad farm Nilma North. Paul works out there growing broccoli and potatoes with his dad. Paul, Alex, Emma and I set out to check all the water levels on the dams and have a ride around the farm. The kids love going out to the farm and help dad.






We had a great day riding around on the 4 wheel motorbike checking out all the dams and fences. This is Alex giving us directions.
